How to Print Your PicturesQR Templates

PicturesQR QR templates are generated as high-quality 5×7 inch PDF files. They are vector-based, which means you can scale them up or down without losing quality. You can print them at home on regular or cardstock paper, or send them to any professional print service.

Below are detailed steps for printing your templates on computer or mobile, along with recommendations for paper types and print settings.

  • Paper choices.

    • Regular printer paper: Good for quick signs and casual use.

    • Cardstock: Recommended for table signs, display stands, and longer-lasting prints (65–110 lb, depending on your printer).

  • Print quality settings.
In your printer preferences, choose High or Best quality. Avoid Draft mode to keep the QR code sharp and easily scannable.

  • Cutting to size.
If printing on letter-size paper, use scissors or a paper cutter to trim the design down to a neat 5×7 card.

  • Choose your printer.
You can use local shops (e.g., office supply stores or print shops) or online printers (e.g., Vistaprint, Canva Print, Shutterfly, Moo).

  • Use Actual Size / 100% scale.
Avoid “Fit to Page” so the template prints correctly.

  • Prefer cardstock for displays.
Cardstock looks more professional and holds up better at events.

Use High or Best quality so QR codes scan reliably.

  • Professional printing is fully supported.
The 5×7 PDFs can be enlarged for bigger signs without losing quality.
